Kuwait Commissioner General Salem Al-Watyan visits Expo 2030 site, tours designated plot

Salem Al-Watyan, Commissioner General of the Kuwait Pavilion at Expo 2030, visited the Expo site on 28 July 2026 at the invitation of the Expo 2030 Riyadh Company. The visit covered Kuwait's designated pavilion plot. The Commissioner General role is Kuwait's most senior pavilion appointment and confirms the country's participation is in active preparation. Kuwait joins Bahrain, Uzbekistan, Luxembourg and Serbia on the mid-2026 delegation-visit list, and is the second GCC country to visit in six days.
