Expo 2030 excavation reaches 8 million cubic metres, main corridor 2 of 7.5 km

The Expo 2030 Riyadh Company published a Progress in Numbers construction update on 7 July 2026 via its X account. Headline figures: 8 million cubic metres of excavation and backfilling completed and 2 kilometres of a planned 7.5-kilometre main service corridor delivered. Safety and environmental metrics include 2.1 million injury-free working hours, 80 animals reintroduced and 719 trees relocated.
